152 | Meet the Restore Founding Partner Mentor: Kristi Bestwick
===
[00:00:00] Hey friends. Welcome back to the call to lead podcast. I am super excited to introduce the next series of this podcast. As we roll out all of the foundational elements of our brand new direct sales company, restore collective, and this series is going to be a special one because I will be introducing you to each one of the 12 founding partner mentors. That are essentially going to be the solid roots or the branches, if you will, of what is going to help this company grow into something so beautiful and so strong. And so each of these episodes will be interview style where I ask similar questions of each one of the gals, just to help you get to know each one more, because you might be listening and looking for your next founding partner mentor or your next company, and maybe you're prayerfully considering restore. For that as an option come February, will you will want to join one of these branches with one of these mentors. Or maybe you're already talking with [00:01:00] someone who is aligned with one of these founding partner mentors, and you want to learn more about their story and want to hear what it's going to be like to have them ~as their,~ as your mentor. in business.
And so each one of these for the next 12 weeks. We'll be able to help you learn a little bit more about our family. So let's dive into meet the very first founding partner mentor Kristi Beswick.
[00:02:00]
All right, you guys, I am seriously so excited for y'all to meet my dear friend, Kristi. We go way back from the company that we were with prior to founding this one together. And you guys, Kristi is one of the most amazing leaders that I've had the joy and pleasure to work with. So I'm so excited to be able to share her story.
She was one of the top 1 percent leaders, but not just in herself, but she was able to build up other leaders to that level, which is just one of the biggest blessings of this model is the fulfillment that comes from serving and helping others. And so Kristi has all the gifts. That, ~um,~ can absolutely take her even beyond that with restore.
So I'm excited to share her story and a little bit [00:03:00] more about her. For those of you guys who might be considering her as maybe your founding partner mentor, and just even if she's maybe like your aunt in restore something like that, I think it's just really special opportunity to be able to learn more about those that are aligned deeply with our roots, mission, vision, and values in the way that Kristi and her husband, Dave have been.
So Kristi, thank you for being here. You're welcome. I'm excited. This is my first podcast. Or as my kids would say, uh, I'm, I'm casting my pod. That's so good. Oh my gosh. Well, and it's funny cause ~I, I, ~I made it a habit from my very first podcast, ~um, ~interview ~with, ~with Bob Heilig to pray before every podcast, before we get started, even if someone is not a believer like you, I do it.
And sometimes I am brought to tears, but today in particular, I like had to really hold back the, the waterworks because Kristi. You have just absolutely from day one of learning [00:04:00] about what we are doing here at Restore, even before the details had developed, even before the things that are really making it so beautiful and ~so, um, ~so clear, even before those things were there, you have just had this draw and this, this alignment.
With what the Lord is doing here and ~have, ~have really wanted to be a part of it from the beginning. It's just, it's, it's so emotional to be able to get to this point, to be able to introduce you, ~um,~ and it just feels, it feels so real. So what an additional blessing to be able to, to be here today. Well, whenever you laid off the business plan and had Jesus Christ as the CEO, I was like, I'm in, I don't know what we're selling or what we're doing, but sign me up.
I want to be part of that company. Yes. And our products way better than trash bags.
Yes. Yes. Thankfully we will not be, I can say, even though that isn't everyday essential that that's true to use, I can confidently say that will not ever be one that's on our product line. Although they [00:05:00] never, who knows, there could be some kind of amazing innovation in the trash.
Well, for those who don't know your story, I would love to kind of share a little bit of a background kind of spanning your entire years in this business model. So what was your life like? Maybe give us a picture of your life before you dove into the business model of direct sales. And then how this industry and this business model and your experience has, has transformed the lives of you and your family.
Good question. ~Uh,~ so I went to school, ~I'm a doctor,~ I have a doctorate degree in physical therapy. So that is very different from a direct sales model. So life then looks a lot different than now. And. I love physical therapy. ~Uh, ~but I think what's common between both is building those relationships with people, whether it's patients or it's customers or clients, that's always been my favorite part and seeing them progress from beginning to end.[00:06:00]
So I get to do that a lot with the~ teamy and~ the leadership and watching people progress to their fullest potential. So I guess that ties the two professions together. ~Um, ~PT wise, I had a set schedule, I had to be there on set days from certain times, and especially when I did outpatient, you know, I walked in and I had a schedule of, here's where you go every 15 minutes, this is what you're going to do, where now I have a whole day of, which has taken a lot of self discipline and self control on my end, and so much, I've progressed so much, ~um, ~just self development on that end of, Knowing what I need to do and when, instead of just letting the day get away from me.
So I went from ~being,~ having a very strict structured and rigid schedule to having so much time, freedom, and flexibility that I could use to my gain. ~Uh, it's, ~it's just been the greatest blessing of [00:07:00] having that flexibility for our family. ~Uh, ~my husband is, is very busy, has a full time job. And then he ha he's a small business owner too.
And he travels a lot with his job, so it's really nice. I can pick up and leave and go with him. And we get to experience those things together. And I wouldn't be able to do that if I had a set schedule with my PT job. So the flexibility has been such a blessing. And then just that, the freedom also with my children to be able to, you know, I've not missed anything at their school, not missed any sporting events.
And it just frees up. I'm able to do what I need to do during the day and then our evenings are free. I set that schedule myself so that when they come home, I just want our home to be a place of, of peace and, you know, for them to reset and not feel like everything's frantic and I have to get all this stuff done that I didn't get done during the day because I had to go be at a nine to five job.
So for me, that's, that's been the greatest [00:08:00] blessing of embracing this business model or this. This career that it's become for me. Wow. And I know even if it's not something you could have seen coming, it's really cool to watch the Lord weave that path of like similar purpose, like you said, of the transforming of helping others, right?
Like you have such a servant heart. But being able to build a freedom based business around that passion and purpose is just like you said, it's, it's the best part. And I feel like we need to call you Dr. Kristi. Why have we not been calling you? No, that's okay. Kristi's fine. It's a big deal. I mean, not everybody has that little doctor, ~um, ~beside their education.
So it's really amazing that, you know, even someone with your background. And I know that that ~was,~ has been an amazing experience for you, but to be able to bring those gifts and to be able to use that, that time and experience and passion and education and all of it to be able to serve others who are looking for that [00:09:00] freedom.
I know that's just it. I know, like I said, it's the best, biggest blessing. You said the same. It is. And then it's also, it's funny, you know, the things that are the greatest blessings can also be a struggle. You know, I really struggled to have that degree in education and feel like I'm not using it. And I've shifted to this business model where I don't need a degree in medicine, but I really feel like God uses you wherever you're willing to be used.
And he, I feel like he just opened this pathway for me to, I don't know, I think he can use you no matter what you do. Your mission field is every interaction you have on a daily basis, whether it's in an office or it's online, or it's a phone call, or it's a zoom, you know, whatever it is. So, I think we have to be willing to go where he leads and especially with restore.
Like, he just, he opened the door and let me walk right through it. So as long as we're aware of what he's doing and [00:10:00] seeking what his agenda is, he's going to use us no matter what our background is, no matter what our education is. He's going to use our spiritual gifts to further his kingdom, which is, you know, that's my goal from the minute I wake up anyway.
Oh my gosh. I love that. And it's such a perfect transition to some of the questions that I'm going to ask today. And so I did decide since you are the first of the founding partner mentor interviews, I decided. Even though I don't usually do this with my podcast interviews to keep most of the questions consistent.
So that one, you can even kind of prepare a little bit and prepare your hearts. There's a couple of surprises, which is what I'm going to kick off with, but I don't get excited, get excited. The idea is that, ~um, ~you know,~ this can, then ~this can kind of guide the story, your story for you to share, for you to use again, for years to come, because podcasts do live on that your team.
Five years from now can go back and see your heart from the very beginning. And so you mentioned spiritual gifts, [00:11:00] and one of the things when I had you fill out the founding partner mentor application, which was kind of step one, when someone said, and we'll hear more about your story of how you found restore in a minute.
But for those who might be wondering what some of those gifts are for you, including yourself, because you might not, I don't remember what they were. I want to list these out because one of the things we learned at our founding partner mentor retreat. ~Um, ~a few weeks ago when we were able to all get together and kind of learn more about what drives us is sometimes the gifts that are inherently God given and the things that are unique to us, they feel almost normalized or like not that special to you because.
It is who you are and it's who you're made to be. And so these likely won't be surprising to you, but ~this is a, ~this is a big deal because this is who you are. And it's what you're going to be able to bring to your team and to your culture and to those listening, maybe that are even considering you as a founding partner mentor.
So we used something called high five test. com and I'll link it for anybody listening, if you want to go and take it, cause it's a free test. Where you can [00:12:00] find your top five gifts. So these aren't necessarily biblically based, so you'll find a lot of these in where spiritual gifts are listed out in the Bible.
But Kristi, your top five gifts, according to this test, were optimism, coach, teacher, empathizer, believer, And phylomath, which that one I think is like big, big finger. I had to look that one up. I remember that now. Yeah, it's, uh, you like to learn. You like to be challenged and learn new things. Do you feel like those are a reflection of, of like your God given gifts and really kind of what you bring to.
All facets of your life and business. I would say the last one surprised me the most, but then, I mean, I'm always reading, I do wanna always learn new things. So I guess it does make sense. The others, yeah, I would say that they're pretty accurate. I'm definitely, yeah, I'm a deep feeler. Definitely feel whatever anyone else in the room is feeling
That's, that's a no [00:13:00] brainer for anyone around me. ~Um,~ coach, optimism and believer, what they were the other ones, I think, yes, I would say those are accurate. I love that. Well, and again, they probably just feel natural and normal, but the whole idea, one of the reasons we included this in the official application process is because diversity being one of our core values, this is where those strengths might not be someone else's strengths or your weaknesses, which in this particular one, it didn't.
It doesn't show that for me for you, but I know what mine are. And so I know when I see someone who has those strengths, then that's someone who can make me stronger. And that was our vision with the founding partner mentors was to be able to link arms together using each of our God given strengths. And gifts and skill sets to be able to build something that is really strong and really resilient and really special.
And so I, I love kind of starting with that, even if it's a bit of a surprise, because I think that will help you and others that are [00:14:00] getting to know you. I don't know who specifically the Lord made you to be. Yeah. To step into who he created us to be and not fight it. Just own it, I guess. Own it. I know as a fellow optimist, I can sometimes feel like I'm an optimist to a fault.
But I realized, especially like in the season that I know you were also a part of, ~of, of kind of ~having the rug, what felt like the rug. Mm-Hmm. . I remember feeling like my optimism was a fault in that moment until I had a dear friend and leader say, no, optimism and hope is exactly what we all need in this moment.
And so you bring that , you bring that strength. And Kristi, I'm telling you the same thing. Bring it Girl . Yeah. So let's go back to the beginning of how Restore even came into your life. So, ~um, ~tell the story of like, from the beginning when we first connected about this. Well, I don't even know if you remember this, Heather, but it was really interesting, ~the, ~the timing.
~Uh, ~she's a senior this year, but she was serving [00:15:00] at a young life camp for work crew for a month, and it was in North Carolina and was flying back home to us as her shift or her that time frame was up, and she had a connecting flight in Atlanta, Georgia and missed it. And, you know, she's 17 years old,~ the flight was, ~she was stuck there at 11 p.
m., and, and didn't make the connection back to Pittsburgh, and I'm like, oh my gosh, what do we do, we're so far away, we can't go get her, and Atlanta's not, you know, the most ideal airport to be stuck at for a 17 year old female, it's so busy, and so many people, and we're like, what do we do, and I'm like, trying to think of all the people I know who might live in that area, And I call Heather and I'm like, maybe she's near there.
I couldn't remember where she was. Do you remember this? I called. I'm like, are you anywhere near there? And you're what, like three and a half hours away, which meanwhile, you still would have driven. I mean, we, we found alternative plans, but as we connected, you're like, this is so crazy. Cause I [00:16:00] have it on my list to call you today.
Like, at the same time that I called you reaching out for a favor, I was on your list to call about restore. And I feel like let's. Yeah. I don't know. Things that are like, oh my gosh, coincidences for us. God has laid out anyway. So, that was the very beginning connection. And then, I mean, like I said earlier, whenever the business model came about and you said Jesus Christ was the CEO, I was all in from day one, but the more and more I heard about it.
And I was also doing,~ um, ~the circle your prayer devotional at the same time, the 40 days and every day just solidified that this was what God had in store and I'm like, but I don't want to like guide myself down that path if that's not where you want me almost like bought it because I wasn't sure I'm like, I feel like I was putting myself there because that's where I wanted to be and at the same time, God's like nudging me through like, no, this is the door that's open.
You go. But then [00:17:00] being in that interim of the unknown of the waiting season and. Really, I mean, if I can be honest, really struggling in that season of not knowing what the next exact step was, or I wanted the whole staircase instead of just the next step. And of course, God, as he does in his timing, had me in the Bible in Genesis and telling Abraham, go and he didn't say like.
You know, for October, this is what we're going to do. And then November, you'll do this and then December. And then on this day, we'll tie the bow up. And this is how no, he just said, go. And he went, he didn't even know where he was going. So that's when I, you know, surrendered and said, okay, I'll trust that this is the path you have for me.
I don't need to know exactly how it turns out and what the timeline is. But I know that you do. And once I could release that, I could enjoy the whole process so much more. But I loved that season of, you know, not working a business during that time, [00:18:00] just really leaning into him and growing so much closer.
I always grow closer to him in the valleys. Which I don't necessarily want the values, but I don't resist them either because I get so much closer to him then. And it was such a sweet season with him of just diving in and getting to know him and his character. And wanting him more than I wanted this, truth be told.
I just wanted And, ~um, ~we're going to be talking about, ~um, ~I need him to guide me where, where I should go. And this is exactly where he put me. And I'm so glad. I don't want to be anywhere else. The tears are starting again. And here's my empathy. Now I have tears. Cause you have tears. My gosh. So much of what you just said, I can so relate to.
Cause I also have done draw the circle, which I'll link to that book for anybody that, you know, maybe is wrestling with any decision or. Something that you're, you're struggling with, or maybe you don't even know what it is that you're struggling with. Cause I know the first time I read it, I didn't know what to circle, but the Lord made it clear, ~um, ~you know, ~what,~ what to circle and even sacrifice in that [00:19:00] season.
I remember kind of fasting, ~um,~ from some things in that, in that season. And it was, it was an incredible time.~ Um, ~of just trusting in him, but then I know you and I were just kind of messaging on, we're doing an Advent study on the Bible app together, which I can also link to. It's open to anybody that wants to join us.
Although this will be a couple of weeks into Advent by the time this airs. But at the same time, if you want to hop in there, ~we'd love,~ we'd love to have you read through the scriptures, ~um,~ awaiting ~the,~ and celebrating the birth of our savior. ~Um,~ but. Essentially in there,~ um,~ having hope in those dark valleys and in those dark seasons has really been such a tying, ~uh, ~theme for me.
And looking back, I even happened to turn in my physical Bible to some notes I had written at this time last year when I was really struggling in a dark place of grief and being able to see. That little light at the end of the tunnel, even if you can't see the full staircase or no knowing where to go, but knowing that the Lord's got you is just, ~that's, ~that's everything.
So I love, I love everything that you said about that. That's so good. Well, [00:20:00] and I, the advent that I am doing the same reading plan as you, ~um, ~it talked to both of us have the gift of optimism, but it talks about how biblically speaking. Biblical hope is very different than optimism. It's not just wishful thinking, but biblical hope is in the waiting, which we were where we were, ~um.~
Knowing despite the circumstances that God is in it, no matter how, what the circumstances are, or what the future holds, it holds him. And that's where our hope comes from. So, yeah, like I said, I wanted him more than I wanted, like I desperately wanted to be a part of this and to be a founding partner mentor.
But I wanted him more because that's, that's where the hope is, which that sounds like, ~um, the, but the, the, ~the other reading plan, that's how she always ends. Because he's where the hope is, or he's where the joy is. Yeah, he's where the joy is. It's true. Oh, it's so. True. It's so true. Yeah. And don't, don't put you, anybody that's listening, this has been on my heart so much.
And I probably have said [00:21:00] it a time or two, but like, don't put your hope in Kristi. Don't put your hope. Don't put your hope in restore, put your hope in him and know that he will guide you. In whatever that looks like and to whoever and through whatever, because it is all for him and from him and through him.
And so just, yeah, look, look where your hope is and know that the optimist, like Kristi and I I can come alongside you and there is something ~to, to, ~to be actually hopeful about, like we obviously have with restore. So. Love that. Well, so let's see. Let me look at my other little questions. So if you had to pick one of the 12 core values that are the foundational aspects of restore, which would be the one that ~resonates ~resonates the most with you.
I think just because it has to be the foundation of all the other ones, because I love all of them. ~Um, I~ think the foundation is biblical wisdom, and that's what draws me the most to this company, is that it is founded on [00:22:00] scripture, which, you know, it is, it was, it will be, like, it doesn't change. The scripture is scripture, and it is truth, and it is factual, and if you live your life based on that, You can't go wrong.
And I think there's a big difference between biblical knowledge and wisdom. And I feel like this company, which has been so refreshing and reassuring for me is that it's based on biblical wisdom to not just say, well, this is what the Bible says, because anybody can memorize scripture and spout it off, but you have to live it and you have to seek that discernment and for you to share with us all the decisions that you're making and us to pray over those and you're using.
the Holy Spirit's prompting and discernment to make those decisions. I just feel like you can't go wrong. And, you know, it's, it's just so reassuring. And I think for, [00:23:00] for something solid that a company needs to stand by or stand on, biblical wisdom to me is the first and foremost value that everything else falls under.
I think without biblical wisdom, you can't have. Family and you can't have servant leadership. Like it just all funnels from that. So that's the most important one to me. I think that's a very good answer. It's funny if we, yeah, if I had to just drill it down to one, yeah, that'd be right. The rest of them stem from that, which of course we never want someone to feel.
And I love that you touched on that, that if they don't have the biblical knowledge, cause I didn't, you guys, 12 years ago, I didn't like even the basic Bible stories that people grew up with when they would talk about like, Oh, you know, Joseph, haha. Or like doubting Thomas. I'm like, no, I don't know what you're, I don't know what you're talking about.
Like did not know, you know, biblical scripture until I really dove into it first with the fluffy stuff. And then now, you know, that I've, that I've grown so much in my faith walk. And I think any of you guys, even if you're just a beginning believer, I always say, start with James and Tabitha that you [00:24:00] guys will meet as a founding partner mentor, she and her husband.
Who actually pastors, they recommend that all the time is a great starting point. It's just~ the book,~ the book of James. ~Um,~ but essentially we don't want you to feel like if you don't have that biblical knowledge, or you're not even a believer that that's okay too. But know that pretty much any wise words that are out there in any personal development book or any business book, it's going to be grounded in the word.
It is, it's all there. There's not anything that's out there that works and it's good. Well, let me see. I can work. From a worldly perspective, but are they really going to bring you what you're really looking for, which is fulfillment. So anyway, I know you and I could kind of go down on that and maybe we will one day.
I'm so glad you touched on that though, about not, you don't have to, and none of us, oh my gosh, none of us have it all together. You know, we're arguing on the way to church at times and we don't know the Bible inside and out. And yeah, I'm glad you touched that. You don't have to be a believer. To be a part of this, [00:25:00] like no one's excluded.
We, everybody's welcome. Yes, absolutely. A hundred percent. So speaking kind of a culture and kind of uniqueness and even diversity, what do you envision being some of the unique facets that you will see in your, your branch? That's what we're calling each of the founding partner mentor branches of the tree, right?
So what, what do you see setting your branch, your team apart? Oh, goodness. Oh, that's a tough one, because I envision us all being so, like, linked arms, so when you get one of us, you really get all of us, but within our own culture, uh, what I really hold dear or important to me that I hope I would be able to model to others is just how important the one on one connections are with others.
With each of us as a team, but also with our customers, just to feel valued and know that they're worthy. I think women [00:26:00] struggle with that a lot. And I don't know what, what lights me up the most is when people step into their fullest potential of who God created them to be. So, as a team leader, that's definitely where I like to hone in is helping people see their gifts, because sometimes it's so hard for us to say that ourselves.
But it's easy to recognize it in others, and then even when we hear it, we can deflect it and be like, Oh, I don't know about that. But just to really speak life into people and help them see who God created them to be and know that they have that potential to be that. And God gives you that gift and those strengths.
It's not you, it's God gifting you that. So it kind of relieves you of feeling like you have to be someone. It's, it's just calling out in you who you already are. And walking into a room and know that it's okay to take up space and you don't need to shrink down or be quiet, like, just be who God created you to be.
So I, [00:27:00] I don't know that that's necessarily a culture. I think that that happens on each individual relationship that's built. But building those relationships is something so near and dear to me. And then it just keeps growing from there. I don't even know if I answered your question, but that's I'm like looking back to when, like the first time I think you and I probably even met in person, which was at a retreat that you're kind of the mentorship in, in between is cause you were on my team.
But, and I remember, first of all, that's where. ~Um,~ the awesome leader, Lauren, that like, she opened it up with the high five test. So that's when I first took that, right. And then also I can remember, like you were doing really, really amazingly personally, as was you even had to take, and you were already helping other people when you had a teamie that was with you, who was also amazing, you know, doing really well personally.
But I think that it was like that connection when you really put the focus [00:28:00] and energy into that. I watched your team absolutely explode and take off to, you know, over 300 people and not that, I mean, that was not that long ago that we got together. And so I, I love being able to look back and see that.
Yes, that was. One of the key culture facets, I think that set it apart. And one of the things that is, is an amazing gift to be able to perform well, personally, meaning strong, personal sales, strong enrollment from you and some of the amazing leaders and ladies that were on your team. But one of the challenges that comes with the volume is the lack of connection.
But I think you really cracked that code. And I think that, like you said, it's, it's about meeting people where they are, which is usually a place of unworthiness or not feeling like they're enough. So helping people feel like they are exactly who they're meant to be and that you're there to walk right alongside them and lead by example.
So yeah. And they belong. Yeah. They're part. Yeah. Our community and sisterhood. Yeah. [00:29:00] That part was hard to beat building those relationships. Yeah. So, so keeping that in mind, who would you say if you had to describe like your dream team or your ideal partner for your branch with restore what, what would she.
Hmm.
Well, it's hard. Cause you want to meet people where they are, but I would, ~um, ~cause it's different for everybody, whether they want to dive right on and do this full time or only dabble in it and do it for, ~um,~ not necessarily for fun, but some just love, you know, most people join for the community and flexibility and profitability.
So I don't want to say like one is better than the other, because all of the, like your needs get met. With all of those. So, but for me, ~um,~ definitely a team player. Like you have to want to everybody to be better together and be willing to share and contribute and, you know, reach [00:30:00] back and lift the other person up.
Not necessarily like, well, I want to be at the top and it doesn't matter about anybody else. Now,~ uh,~ we all need to be team players, that would be a dream teamie to me, somebody who is selfless and has that leadership heart, or not, not, you don't even have to lead, just that servant heart of wanting to make it better and easier for anyone else, no matter, and it can just be sharing a graphic, it doesn't have to be, you know, being a top leader.
And implementing a training just to be there for each other. ~Um, ~so if I I'm trying to think of like the characteristics of what a dream team you would have selfless, ~um, ~just wanting to be better, whatever that definition is for them, not wanting to settle where they are, but wanting to be better and to grow, and that doesn't even have to be business wise, but.
Definitely this business model ~ ~can really spur on self development, ~um, and~ a team player. So good. Yeah. Our church, that's one of our [00:31:00] core values at our church and it's we over me. And funny enough, when I first came up with servant leadership as the core value, I also had him put the C's we over me, but then it got, it's a lot of words, but yes, that like looking to the team as, you know, even, even more important than yourself.
can take people so, so far to help to be able to see others, especially in this business. And it's really hard to be truly successful, meaning fulfillment. And freedom that can come from doing it right without that gift and blessing. So I, I really, really love that. That's, that's where your heart is.
That was a good answer and a tough question. It's hard to like narrow that down. Yeah, totally. Okay. So last question, and this is a fun one. Um, and it might, cause I don't know what you're going to say. And I don't either, but kind of scary products cause you've had kind of an inside. peek at some of the products that we are developing and putting together.
You've been able [00:32:00] to try some, get some on, on your face, have a little sample, tiny little tubes that might even be out, but what, what has been the product that has gotten you the most excited for Restore? Uh, well, gosh, I love the makeup. I absolutely love the makeup and how it glides on and how smooth and silky it is.
And just the confidence that it brings when you look in the mirror. I remember the first time I tried it, I kept going back to the mirror and looking like, Oh my gosh! So yeah, I love what the makeup brings. But also, I think probably the science background in me, like, totally geeks out over The renewal molecule and ~all that, all that it's ~the potential of what it can be for so many people.
And I don't know how much. To share there. I don't want to spill the beans on something. I can't spill the beans on but just, you know, we got to listen to the, the doctor, ~um, ~who found and patented the molecule and [00:33:00] hearing his heart and just getting his mindset behind it and hearing it. And it's like, oh, I just loved everything about it.
And I loved who he was and what he stands for, which made me even more excited about the molecule and what it can do and what it can bring and how it can simplify the lives of active families. And hearing the science behind it gets me so excited about, you know, it's not even something he was seeking, yet he found that this is what it did.
And it brings all of the, ~uh, ~it can trigger basically your immune response and all of those cells to go to that area to help heal something. And it just fascinates me. I had of dissecting human bodies and just hearing and Learning those things and thinking God is just magnificent. Like, how does he even do this and create this?
And I don't know how you can't believe in him [00:34:00] after. Learning or I don't know. It's just not a black and white thing. It is it. That is magnificent. So those kind of things get stirred up in me when I, when I hear science and~ the, ~the how behind things that molecule gets me super excited and what's to come with it too.
I love that. And probably by the time this airs, we will have shared some sneak peek insider info with the focus groups, which I'll make sure to link to that in the show notes in the description of this as well, if you're not already a part of it. ~Um, ~but the renewal molecule that Kristi is referring to will be in several of our skincare products and eventually some of the makeup as well.
~Um,~ but we're going to kind of take baby steps because there's really only so much that necessarily need. And so we're kind of trying to ~Um,~ you know, strategically included where it makes sense, but that was actually where this company was started. I know a lot of people are very excited, myself included about the makeup.
And, and we do believe that that can. Of course, simplify the lives of our active families, but I'm [00:35:00] with you that~ this,~ this molecule. And so ~any,~ any products that have the word renewal in it, renewal. Elixir, for example, is one that I can kind of tease. That's actually something that is a topical immunotherapy and that word.
I feel like the, that quick description ~was, ~was. A gift from the Lord, because it is kind of hard to describe what it does, but, but what it does is it tells your body to do what it was meant to do, ~um,~ in some of the language we have to be very careful around, like, you know, in certain words that the FTC or FDA will not want us to use, but that topical immunotherapy or really just safely, but effectively triggering your body's natural immune response to, to target any damaged cell anywhere on your body.
That's what that molecule does. And so it is really exciting that we will be able to have that patented molecule in several of the products at pre launch, but it's certainly something that we hope to partner with Dr. Wagner and his incredible mission and vision, ~um,~ on so many different levels. So I love that you're as excited about that as I am.
And there'll be much more to [00:36:00] come on that very, very soon. ~So, ~well, Kristi, thank you so much for just like dropping the goodness today. I mean, we've had tears. It's just really fun to walk back from that very first phone call and watching the Lord work all of even that, like, Scary feeling in time together for good for his purposes and to be able to align together in our optimism, but also deeper than that, which is the hope that the Lord is, is in this with us and, and that we, and anyone that is listening and anyone that's.
Founding partner mentors and all of us. Like we are truly seeking after his will first. And just, he's gifting us this information and inspiration and all of the things. And so being able to point this all back to him has just been such a blessing. I know for me and I know for those listening. So.
Christine, the last thing I'd love to have you do. I've started since all of this has gone down, I've started wrapping up each of my podcasts with a prayer, ~um, ~for those listening. So I would love to invite you to pray [00:37:00] with anybody that's, that's listening as we wrap up today. I'd love to. It'd be my honor.
Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for this time spent with Heather and all of the listeners who are tuning in. Uh, more than anything, we just want to bring you glory. And we thank you for this platform that we're able to do this. You know, the world is our mission field no matter what. No matter where you have us, no matter what our career is, maybe we're just at home, whatever it is, there's always ways that we can bring you glory and bring a little slice of heaven here on earth.
And I just pray that you would show us those ways that we can do that. Um, just open our eyes and our hearts and our ears for those opportunities to seek out what your agenda is so that we can. Join alongside you instead of mapping out this whole thing that we have on our hearts and asking you to join and just keep us aligned that that you've got a mission [00:38:00] and an agenda, and we need to line up with you.
So show us the ways that we can do that. Thank you for the many ways that you've blessed this company already before it's even launched just by bringing us closer to you, which is our main goal. And I just pray that those blessings would continue. I pray for your favor upon you. Heather and Roger and all that they are embarking on just to strengthen their marriage, help them lean into each other as they lean into you.
And for each of us founding partner mentors, just that we could represent you and represent the company. Well, that's, that's our goal. That's our desire. And for everybody listening, oh, just that we could all have that taste of biblical hope of knowing that our joy and our hope is found in you and not in our circumstances and not in anything here on earth, but in with our eyes set on you above.
So thank you for this time. Thank you for blessing us with, um, hopefully with [00:39:00] your words. And I just pray that we continue to. Glorify you and give all of our honor and glory to you and your heavenly name. We pray. Amen. Amen. That was so beautiful. And so for anybody that wants to connect with Kristi, you guys will make that focus group retreat.
And there's a little box on there where you can just check Kristi and I'll make sure she gets, ~um,~ gets all of the goodness there. I'll also link to, ~um,~ a little quick video. ~Um,~ just a little overview. I mean, this was like the big video, obviously link to that one as well. So Kristi, thank you for taking the time to, to share your heart and your story.
It's been such a blessing. You're welcome. Thank you for being such a good host. It makes it, I'm at ease. I was a little nervous coming into it. So thank you. You're so welcome. Thank you, darling. Y'all have a great week. Bye. ~ ~
