138 | What's Next for Heather and Roger: Our Story and "Why" We are Starting Our New Business Together
===
[00:00:00] Hey friends, welcome back to the called to lead podcast. So you guys, today is a big day as I am going to be not only sharing what I am doing next in my business and what the Lord has been calling me to so very clearly . But also I'm going to be introducing you guys to my amazing husband, Roger.
So you may or may not have heard our story as that was the first episode way back in the day. But today we're going to be sharing a little bit of that story, even more exciting, we're going to be announcing what we are doing together and more importantly, why we are doing it. And so I am so excited about this episode because you might even be listening to this years down the road after we started this thing.
And I can't wait to even be able to reflect back on what we were feeling and our dreams and our hopes. and our mission and vision and values that we're going to be able to share [00:01:00] today. So what's also really cool is if you listened to last week's episode with our Pastor Harrison, we're going to follow up a little bit on the conversation that happened after we stopped hitting record.
So let's dive in to this huge episode of the called to lead podcast. Here we go.
[00:02:00]
So this is so fun because we haven't done this since I very first started my podcast, I think was that like two and a half years ago where you interviewed me and shared a little bit of our story. So some people listening, you may have heard that. Probably not. I'll link to it. I need to go back and listen to, but Roger, I'm so excited to be able to share a little bit more of our story, some of the exciting things that are down the line and just invite you guys listening to be able to get to know you a little. Bit more. Really glad to be here. if you listened to last week's episode with our pastor, our campus pastor at our church, compassion, Christian, you heard his incredible example of what it looks like to chase after the Lord's vision that he puts on your heart and what it looks like to dream and dream big.
And [00:03:00] it was kind of crazy because after we got off the recording of that podcast, he said to me, he said, Heather, I wonder if your 20 year vision that the Lord gave you 20 years ago is this culmination of what Roger and I are going to share with you today, which is starting a new business together. And so we'll share what that is in a minute. But I realized that that vision actually. Isn't I don't, I don't think that's what the Lord is working on.
I think 20 years ago. Do you want to tell him what we were doing 20 years ago, honey? Personally and professionally, both. Let's see, you say 20 years ago, Heather was a, a boutique owner in Savannah. And. Well, I was working basically as a fishing guide. I've always loved the outdoors and. And and always just just traveling a. Let's try to make my living in the outdoors, guiding fishing and hunting trips. And so obviously a little word as I've been doors and plus this. [00:04:00] Various ways and he's got a great sense of humor as he leads us into this new adventure.
So. Here we are. 20 years ago, we were engaged. We were engaged to be married and were married in may of 2005. So that's, that's where we go. Yeah. Well, and that's, I knew when I talked through it with Harrison, that as much as I wanted it to be what we're doing. As the combination of the Lords dream for us, I realized it's the way that he's brought us together, especially in our marriage, in both of our separate. Entrepreneurial journeys. And I really think that when I look back, not even 20 years ago when we were engaged, but even on our first date, I feel like that's where he definitely has a sense of humor because we were both at the university of Georgia. He was about a year behind.
Well, you're older than me. It was. About a year. About a year behind me. And graduating, but we at our first date in February of 20 2002. And on that first [00:05:00] day, I immediately felt a connection. But when he said, well, what do you want to do when you grew up? I said, well, I want to move to New York and be an executive at a beauty company.
I want to work in PR. I had an internship lined up that summer at NARS cosmetics, which was my, just my dream job, my dream internship. And then what did you say you wanted to do. I said I was going to move to Florida and be a fishing guide. I pretty much. Written that off as our first and only date. At that point in time. Yeah.
We're like we haven't seen him work out really well. So it's really crazy to see how far the Lord has brought us in the 22 years since. But I feel like our journey as many couples, if you're married yourself, if you're not yet married, I can tell you that marriage is definitely one of the biggest challenges that you'll face, but also one of the biggest blessings that you faced. If you focus on growing together and not doing, and making some of the mistakes.
I know that I made and I can say, I think I can say we [00:06:00] made. And that you're growing your own separate kingdoms are chasing after your own individual dreams instead of aligning together and taking the time to pause and pray and really figure out. Where do those intersect? And even if it doesn't make any sense at all, cause it, it didn't, I mean, 20 years ago, Never in a million years, could either of us have envisioned. Working together, let alone actually starting a business together, right?
Yeah. But yet. Through the experiences that we've had mine and boutique ownership. Um, do you want to tell them a little bit about your business? Because you probably are a little bit familiar with mine, both in the retail world, but also in the direct sales space. But maybe tell them a little bit about your background in entrepreneurship and what that slipped like. Sure. Well, I've always worked. Uh, I always made a portion of my income through my own entrepreneurial activities. In 2010, I started a pond management business. And that's taken me [00:07:00] down. A lot of different challenging roads, but you know, every last 14 years of doing that and employing some great guys and just learning how to run a business and the challenges associated with that. It's I've just I've really learned a lot about life.
Well, about business, about people, about customers just been, been fortunate to have those experiences. And, going back to our marriage and just. You know, the, kind of the process of maturity that we've gone through. We've not, we haven't always done. Everything right. And you can, you. We're all human beings. And there's still some mistakes in our future. But I wouldn't take back a single one of those experiences that we've had. And I feel that. Through those challenges and through those experience we've learned and grown together. And then God has equipped us through, through those life challenges to. To be where we are. So, yeah, I mean, Very feel very blessed [00:08:00] to be here.
And I know there. This could be the greatest challenge of our marriage. But you know, I feel that. Our hearts and our minds and our talents. We compliment each other and our talents. And our talents and we, and we pick each other up in our weaknesses. And so I feel that we're, we're very equipped to, to be where we are right now. Really excited. Me too. It's really it's seriously, so crazy and such a blessing.
And I realized that some of you guys listening might be feeling like. You are so far from being aligned with your spouse, or again, maybe you're single and aren't even married yet. And you're like, how can you go from having two completely divergent dreams to being so aligned together, but also acknowledging like Roger said that it's, it won't be easy and it could be. Some of the biggest challenges that we face. But I'll tell you that none of it would be possible if it weren't for both of us really fully devoting ourselves to the [00:09:00] Lord. And realizing that his plan for our marriage was for us to be together for the longterm and beyond. And I just, I think once we realized that and we realized, Despite our challenges, despite the frustrations, despite the mistakes and all of the things that we made and those years that seeking after him first. And growing towards the Lord. Allowed us to grow closer together and I'd even say, and we talked a little bit about this last week with Harrison, that the desires that the Lord puts on our heart can and do change.
And wouldn't you say that. The desires of my heart have shifted. To be more in line with. How you always would have dreamed our marriage to be, even if on that first date. Again, my goal was to move to New York city kids. Weren't even something that I think we even talked about because I mean, I didn't picture myself running around Manhattan with children. Which is just crazy to think about, but it's like the desires of [00:10:00] your heart can and do change together.
And so as we, as we grow closer together grow closer to the Lord, we grow, closer to him. So I wouldn't, you agree that like none of this would be possible without us. Together separately, fully seeking after the Lord first in our lives. Yeah, absolutely. I mean, I think that the common urge when, when you're younger is to. Is to strive for what makes, what feels like and what makes you happy and what gets you going and what drives you.
And as we've grown in our faith, we've realized that. The greatest joy in life comes from serving others and watching others succeed. And that gives you, that gives you a sense of fulfillment that you can't find by making yourself. Happy in the short term. So as we've grown, as we've matured and our faith and our marriage and our family. You know, this, this fulfillment that we get from. From serving each other from serving our [00:11:00] kids from seeing others succeed and pouring into others. That's been the ultimate goal and the ultimate sense of joy and fulfillment in our lives.
As we move forward. So that, that's why my interests have changed from, simply just doing what I feel I need to do that day to make me happy to see in a bigger, broader picture. In life and how we can affect others and how we can. How I can affect. You had generations of people.
But I tried to set a good example when trying to be a servant leader to others. So, yeah. And that I think is why it's so clear to me now that, that 20 year dream and goal that Harrison was talking about, that the Lord put in our lives back when we were engaged. It's. It's about that. It's about setting the example for our children.
That again, marriage, isn't going to be easy and partnership in anything. Partnership in life partnership in business partnership with [00:12:00] friends, family. Sometimes. You don't have choices in the, in those things, because it might be your siblings or your cousins or your step parents or something like that.
That being partners and loving people for who they are and setting the example of what it looks like to put the Lord first, grow towards him, and then hoping that's inspiring enough to bring others on that journey with you, to me. I think that's why the Lord is. Already showing us that his blessing is on this endeavor is because of that example, we can set for our kids, for others who come along the journey with us.
And we. Above all really feel empowered to set that example, that if you're trying to do this thing on your own, or if you're trying to do it to gratify your own individual personal desires. You're not only, probably not going to be successful, but you're not going to be fulfilled. And I think that's what we're all searching for.
Especially if you are an entrepreneur. Entrepreneur or [00:13:00] entrepreneurial minded like we are when you agree. Absolutely. Yeah. And so I couldn't believe it was so funny when we got off the recording and Harrison and I were talking through that and he's like, man, it would just be super cool one day for you and Roger, to be able to share your story like that with others.
And I was like, Well that one day it's going to be next week. So. And of course he cracked up laughing because, and that won't surprise any of you guys, because when I hope that when I get that vision or inspiration or confirmation from the Lord, and I get that clarity as we've been talking about for those of you guys who might look, be looking for that next step, the Lord has for you.
I think when you get that clarity and when you get that confirmation, it's like you have to chase after it and even pinning Roger down. Cause bless him. He not only is he starting this business with me and it is, I think we can say this now, but, and we'll tell you more specifically, but it is a direct sales company that we were starting together.
And so whether it's spending hours a week, going over our comp [00:14:00] plan and things like that, that he's not as familiar with. Or looking at product development ideas that definitely don't suit. This is tastes and interests. He's doing that right. Alongside running his own business, his own thriving and growing business that is, is growing by leaps and bounds as we speak.
And it's really exciting. And I think that it's really important at the same time to be able to take this opportunity to share. Our story and to, kind of introduce you to you. to my My partner in life and in business now. So, what advice would you say for people who are kind of seeking that next step or direction?
And trying to decide. What's next for them.
Man this, I mean, this was something we were talking about this morning. I've. If you're in, if you are in step.
With the Lord and. I mean, you have to realize that, he created us, as Harrison said last week. I mean, he created [00:15:00] us specifically. With a thought in mind. With Uh, in a way to use us through our lives. To where we grow. And then we glorify him in that proceed. And so. I mean my life experiences, anytime I'm. In step with him. And I'm pursuing something. That. I believe he has put it put on my heart and it is in my plan in life. He's. I've had to always work very hard but he's also opened the proper doors to allow me to walk through them. And things that I've wanted that I thought that I was pursuing. That would make me. Quote, unquote, happy. That were not the proper directions from my life. He was very quick to close doors and make it very difficult for me to walk through them. And I certainly don't want to speak as a. Th this is the only way to interpret that, but that just sharing my personal experience, that. That. When I was on the right direction and I was on [00:16:00] something that he intended to meet to, for me to be successful in. That he provided the means to do so.
Whether that's, you know, meeting the right people, bringing me. The customers I needed. Just opening those crucial doors to be successful. So I would, that would be my advice as if it's, if it's something that's really it's meant for you. You're going to have to work at it. But he's going to open the doors and enable you to succeed. And I believe that's a very important way to discern. If you're headed in the right direction.
I so good. I totally sprung that question on you and I love. So much to the Lord, put it on my heart and that he gave you that exact answer that I needed to hear too, because that's the, one of the blessings and the hard parts about working together is what you do have to kind of keep each other in check.
And he kept me in check with something that I was kind of running after that. I was seeing a little bit of resistance and sometimes you have to lean into the resistance, but also. Realize that as one of my mentors, [00:17:00] Somer Phoebus says the way to know that if it's you or the Lord is run after it, which we've been talking about that Hebrews one, two, and run the rice of perseverance that the Lord is set before you. But if you run after it and you trip. It might be you, but if you run after it and you do trip, he's going to be there to pick you up and guide you, but you need to kind of pause and think like, okay, what am I headed in the right direction?
Is this, is this what he wants for me? And I can tell you just, like you said, that in this experience, and it has been a very short time, that we've been running after this race, he's put on our heart. But it feels freeing. It feels clear. And he has given us every idea, every contact, every inspiration, especially when we get specific and pray about those things.
And it has just been. An amazing blessing that I cannot wait to continue to run together with you. Yeah, absolutely. It's going to be fun. So are y'all ready to know what [00:18:00] we're doing. Rip the band-aid and here are the big next steps. Any, I'll let you maybe say the name of the company that we're starting. Sure it's called restore collective. Yep.
Restore collective, which I know might not have a, and actually, maybe I should tell a little bit of the story behind, behind that name. Our original name for this company, and we're not going to share the products or what we're selling actually for a while, because while one, some of it's still in development too, we feel really strongly that we want to share the why behind what we're doing, because ultimately we think that's, what's most important in this.
And it's part of what this, uh, our story is but re. The word were store. Has a lot of meaning around the, what that we're doing. We really do feel like this is restoring. The institution of marriage and partnership with your family and what that looks like it, I think can be an opportunity to restore some people who've been broken. Whether that's in the. [00:19:00] Network marketing or direct sell space or in specific companies. Through decisions that have not been in alignment with their hearts. And I think it's about, it's about restoring the Lord's vision for all of us in a way, but it's also kind of cool when we get to the product part.
It's kind of a re store. So I'll, I'll share more about that later, but if you know my word of the year renewal. It's a little bit tied to that too. So stay tuned for more specifics on the, what, as I share more about the values, but the name is really powerful and it actually came. Through prayer with a focus group of some people who are going to be a part of this from the beginning.
And there was confirmation from multiple within the group that that word had, had resonated with most of us. And what's also really cool is the the T in the middle. Represents the cross. That is the center and the foundation of everything that we do. And so it will be a faith forward company envision, like Chick-fil-A hobby lobby. [00:20:00] Things like jet blue, what were some of the other ones were really going in and out?
Did you guys know that, that there's so many great faith forward companies out there that are in the secular space as we will be. But that don't sacrifice their transparency around what they believe. And that, that is the Lord is the source of it all. So that's the name? That's restore. Anything you want to add to that? Summed it up. Yeah. Well, so the next thing I want to share is the mission behind what we want to do.
And so the mission, our mission statement is a, we are committed to simplifying the lives of active families. We together collectively, that's where the word collective comes from. We are committed, meaning it's our mission, right? Like we together are committed. Anyone who joins us in that to simplify, because if you guys know my team name, before this was, keep it simple sister. And that's because I believe that whether it's in life in marriage and family and business, [00:21:00] and, Beauty skincare, whatever it might be that keeping it simple is the best way to do it.
So simplicity will be our focus. And who we're serving are active families like us, people who are, feel like an Uber driver, most days taking their kids to, and from school or to sports practices. Maybe you're active yourself. Maybe you're, you know, kind of sporty Roger's a sport fishermen and a hunter.
I play golf. And also this work pretty good sport fishermen actual, or say a Fisher woman. But we are active. Right. And, you know, we have a lot of, even active. Military friends and family that are active in that way. We have people who are active in what they believe. You know, whatever mission that they're on.
And so that word active. It's a better word than busy, but it, what we're going to do is serve the people who are. Busy running the race that the Lord has called them on and parenting and in life and and in business as well. And so, and families, the word family is [00:22:00] super important and that is one of our values as we get there as well is, is truly that this is better when you invite those, you love on that journey with you.
So if you're married I can't believe it, but my three first three experiences in network marketing, I never even talked to Roger about before I joined, which was a huge mistake. And I know that now. And so that's an example that we would actually go against to say, first of all, pray about it for you. Second of all talk to your spouse, because if you're not in alignment for whatever you're doing, then it's probably not going to be, or I can pretty much say it won't be the Lord's plan for your life.
If your spouse isn't it for what you're doing. And even if you're afraid that he won't be, and I've experienced that too, there's been certain things where I'm like scared to ask him or scared to talk to him. But when he does come back in support of whatever that is, then it's confirmation for me, that it is from the Lord.
And so, that example, for example, of talking with your family, and again, if you're not married that could be inviting, like you're a single parent inviting your kids on that journey with you or [00:23:00] talking to, you're a respected mentor or your dad, or, you know, an uncle that's really, really great in business or something along those lines.
And so the family piece of this is something that's really, really important to us. Well, okay. I'm going to read off the vision just because I don't, I want to make sure that I get this right. So we have five. Primary visions for what we want this to be and what we want this to look like for the long run. And so we do believe to begin with the end in mind, Stephen Covey, with the seven habits of highly effective people talks about the importance of doing that.
And so this is our end game goal, if you will. And so first that's to establish Christ's example as our foundation. For strong roots that grow tall and strong, like a beautiful Oak tree. So we have in our front yard and actually our neighbor in our backyard has this gorgeous, strong what kind of live [00:24:00] Oak. A live Oak tree that we both just think is just the prettiest thing ever.
And if you've ever been to Savannah, We're just outside Savannah. You've seen like the dripping Moss and it's absolutely stunning, but if a tree. Even as big as some of these hundreds of your old Oak trees, if they don't have strong, solid roots. A hurricane or a tropical storm as we've experienced, we used to have a giant one in our backyard. And it toppled when one of those storms came and it was likely because the root system wasn't able to develop as it should. And so we believe that that root system is in Christ example.
And so that is our visual for what we want this to be as a bottom up, not top down pyramid, but a bottom up. Beautiful tree that can grow together through the foundation of the solid roots. So then the second thing we envision is to empower servant hearted leaders. So we know you're out there. It's probably you that are listening [00:25:00] to this podcast.
If you, if you've made it this far, but it's someone who has that heart to serve others. But you do have those leadership skills, even if that has an exemplified in success, worldly success in direct sales or network marketing. You are a leader because you are inspiring others. And John Maxwell says leadership is influence nothing more, nothing less.
And so if you're influencing others, whether that's your family or your spouse or your friends, you, my friend are a leader and we want to be able to empower you in what we're doing. And let me just enter it. Got it. Th this is where a lot of society. I believe gets it, gets it wrong about leadership. A lot of people's perspective on leadership is, you know, I know everything. And I'm going to tell all the people. But what they need to do to succeed. And that, that is, that is not an effective means of leadership.
And so we want to be. In our business and. I practice what I [00:26:00] preach. I mean, we want to create a team of people with different perspectives and goals and talents. Well, that's probably the same. Goal, but to be successful, but we want to create a group of people where everybody is, has inputs and. And the role of a leader is to serve those under you and get them what they need. Or I guess in the tree comparison, the ones above you.
Anyway. I digress. Uh, as a leader, we need to have a servant mindset to serve those that need that, give them the tools to be successful and listen to the people around you. And. And just be responsive to that and be humble in that role. So that's very important to me. Yes, absolutely. And I know that'll resonate with a lot of you as it does us, but it's not just lip service. Once again, it is the, it is Christ's example.
That's our sermon this week was talking about the example of him washing [00:27:00] his disciples feet and how counter to that worldly. Example that other set, but that is what he desires from us as to put others above us. And that is definitely who we want to empower through this. So the third one is equip active families with simple and sustainable innovations. For their everyday essentials and routines.
So that's going to be a little hint for the products that we will be creating. And we won't create it. If it doesn't do that, if it's not something that you're using and consuming every day as a busy, active family. And if it's not a simplified version of that, then. We're we won't do it. And then sustainability is something that we believe that we have to number one, be good stewards of this earth that we've given, but we want it to be something that you're going to keep using. We want it to be simple enough, easy enough. Effective. With really clean, really great [00:28:00] ingredients. That you're going to want to use over and over again.
And so sustainability is another facet to this as well. And then the fourth vision is elevate the direct sales industry. So if you have listened to this podcast, you know, that's always been my heart and why I've shared my journey and experience. With an open hand and very transparently through the years that I've been doing this. And the reason is because I do think this is a broken industry.
I do think that those of us who are servant leaders need to. Combined together with that mission to be able to elevate it because both of us, right. When you agree that seeing what's been your experience with direct sales even though you're seeing it from the lens of me not having been a distributor yourself, That's your take on it.
Well, I mean, that's a very complex question. I mean, I've seen a lot of good in it from your experience, but, you know, because humans are [00:29:00] involved, it's. There's also. There's also a lot of broken pieces in it. So. I think the challenge in doing this is to identify the good parts of those and, and and magnify those and bringing people in that. That have the same beliefs and the same goals in mind. And to To eliminate the brokenness until eliminate Yeah, whatever that may be like lying selfishness , greed, comparison
yeah. Yeah, so. Yeah. And that requires a level of self control, and that's what we want to encourage and empower and equip people with the tools to be able to do that because you, any business model. Can be broken when people are involved, which they're going to be right. And that includes the church. Can I get an amen, right? So when we lean into again, Christ example, When we lean into his word for the steps that are there for everything, relationally, everything, business-wise, [00:30:00] everything.
Money-wise. And really lean into that. I really truly believe that the example that we can set with us and we want to align with other people in that mission, even if they don't join us in business. Maybe they're an owner of another direct sales company that has that same mission or a coach like Bob Heilig and Kristen boss that I've interviewed recently on this podcast, you can tell their heart and mission is the same as ours to elevate the space.
And so that's something that we've absolutely envisioned this company doing. And there's a lot of, The benefits of it, or you're giving people more financial freedom. Giving people more flexibility in their schedule. More time to spend with their kids more time to. Serve wherever they feel that it's necessary to serve outside of. Quote unquote work. So there's a lot, there's a lot of freedoms there that we want to leverage for the good and try to reduce the negativity. Yes. Yes, there's so much good. And so we do believe in the business [00:31:00] model.
And I think that the future is bright for having. It done the right way. And that's what we're committed to. So then the last step, and this is really special to both of us. And that is, it might get a little emotional that is to encourage cancer thrivers and their caretakers. Through a percentage of our profits.
And so we do believe in generosity. And, you know, giving back. Definitely to the Lord and he's blessed us through that, but also we envision the income that comes from this and the profits that come through this journey that we want to be able to give that back to those who are either struggling through cancer themselves. Or be able to encourage those who are their cancer caretakers or their supporters, because we know that that is just as an important role and it can be challenging.
And so we will be donating a. Percentage of our profits to several different missions that are [00:32:00] important to us, including giving back to the Lord, but that cancer. Thriver piece is, is something that is going to be a foundational element of our company. Anything you want to add to that? That's beautiful. We, we have a strategic partner that we'll talk about later that you'll find that you'll hear about later, but they're very important in this, in this fight.
And it's. Cancer's an epidemic that. It affects us all. I mean, we all know somebody that has cancer as passed away from cancer is going to treatments. So it's Lord put it on our heart and we're going to step up to the challenge. Do what we can. Yes. Yes. Love that. So the last thing I want to leave you with is something that I'm going to be talking a lot more about in the next 12 weeks.
And that is the 12 core values that we. And some of the people that we are envisioning partnering with us from the beginning have helped to really cultivate and curate [00:33:00] as the foundational values, the core values of what we're going to do. And so I will be breaking each one of these down in the coming weeks episodes.
And hopefully short though. Goodness, you guys know I can't do anything. Short, but hopefully short to make them easy to listen. We'll share the reasons behind choosing the value and also a key verse, a biblical verse that points back to this and that kind of reinforces it with you guys, but I will list out all 12. Today, and then of course, I'll be able to share more with you as we go. And these are in no particular order.
So I'll just list them out. So the first one is transparency. The second one is growth. The third is abundance mindset. The next one is freedom. Then servant leadership. Family. Diversity. Biblical [00:34:00] wisdom. embracing your God given gifts Sustainability. Profitability and loyalty.
And so I will be going over each one of these in more detail coming soon. So make sure if you're not already subscribed to this podcast, make sure to go ahead and do that. And that way you'll get a little notification and a good reminder every Friday morning as they pop up. And hopefully there'll be a short and sweet just reminder of not only what we're doing, but. A reminder that can help serve you and your business, whatever that looks like as well. So we're so excited.
This is really such a blessing to be able to kind of make this public. And we do want to share our journey out loud with you in the name of transparency. But also just, we want to invite you on this journey with us. Yeah, absolutely. What would you say about that? Like, if, for people who want to kind of follow along with this, with this journey,
It's [00:35:00] another word question.
I can I act put on the spot, cause I'm certainly We're doing this humbly. And And I don't want to feel like Like, I don't want to feel like we're you. We're setting a model for this, but I feel it 20 years ago. When we were. The fresh, newly married couple. I feel that if, if we would have had somebody setting an example of what the marriage could look like 20 years, from then. Kind of what to expect along the path and. And some tools to some tools and navigate those challenges and that we're all going to face. I mean, I just hope if this can. Affect anyone.
And that's, you know, maybe going through a tough time in their marriage or tough time in their business. If we could be be an example to those that. That there are ways to get through it. And there are ways to stay together and build and build a strong marriage. If we can just help people in that regard. Uh, I feel really great about that. [00:36:00] So. I have, uh, I have this. Th the intent of this business is to, is to serve people and help people. And be a light for Christ. And the, the product of that will be, will be financial for people that, that work with us. And for us as well, because it is a business and we need, we do need to to be profitable, but that, that's not the reason why we're doing this. We're doing this to help people's lives. To help people's marriages to help people's families.
So if anything, we say resonates with people and you can learn from it. I feel. Really grateful that, that we were able to help you. So, yes. Well, thank you guys for listening. Stay tuned for much more info for us to be able to transparently share it. I love that you brought that up, that we're not announcing this with a slick, fancy website or some sort of strong call to action to do it.
Oh, cause I guess we should talk about the timeline of it. It. We will prelaunch [00:37:00] in the first quarter of 2025, meaning that will be the first opportunity that someone could actually purchase the products or enroll as a partner with us. And then we will officially launch next summer in July of 2025, where we will be able to officially kick off the business.
And so anyone that decides to enroll in those first five months in follow along the actual journey of bringing this, this amazing product and this mission to market. We'll, we'll be a founding partner with us. And so we'll certainly be sharing more information as we go. But instead of waiting until we had all of those details. Glossily put together.
We wanted to invite you on the journey in humility to be able to share that that's exactly, for those of you guys who might partner with us, that's exactly what you'll be doing as well as just inviting people on the journey with you. And so thank you for being on this journey with us. Thank you for listening to our story and our exciting announcement.
And I definitely, I can't wait to be able to share [00:38:00] more. Here. Each week with you guys. So thank you again.

And this, this journey that we get to go on together. Or we we aim to serve you and it serves the people that, that that we come in contact with and be a light for Christ. Just let us stay close to you at. But your. Our vision align with yours and the purpose you have for us. And I'm. Lord.
